I can’t speak too well to how good the Turners are for Cardistry. I know that in the case of performing card magic, Turners make certain practices easier over time (the deck doesn’t degrade, dogear, etc.) but it can make certain moves more difficult compared with Elites or even regular Bikes, requiring just a little more force, or a slight adjustment. I’m not really into Cardistry, and I’m sure there are moves in it best suited for softer card stock, so for those moves I would not recommend Turners. That said, if what you’re doing is cardistry, and what you want is cool flashes of color instead of “staid, old-fashioned” back designs, you could just get a “stolen cards” pack and use that. For purposes of most magic moves though, I recommend Turners, if you’re using a Bicycle brand playing card. I also quite like Aristocrats, which aren’t Bikes at all, and which I purchased a lot of at Magic Live this past summer. They have a stiff, but supple card stock which is a lot like Turners but a bit different. They also have a very old design, which looks great. They tend to cost more than Bikes, but unlike most fancy decks, I think they’re worth it.
